Nikon acquires Red a company that make cameras for film making and professional use.
Nikon, the popular giant name among top camera companies of the world has announced that it is buying the Red, the name behind creating some groundbreaking cameras out there. With this move Red will be under Nikon's wing. RED cameras have been used in numerous high profile productions, including Marvel films like "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" and "Captain Marvel," nature documentaries like "Planet Earth II," and popular TV shows like "Squid Game," "Mindhunter," "Peaky Blinders," and "The Queen's Gambit." With the agreement Nikon acquires 100% of the entire membership interests of Red.com, LLC (RED) whereby RED will become wholly owned subsidy of NIKON. Why did Nikon buy Red?
